At BreathAR, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy details how we handle the information that is collected, used, or processed by our mobile application.

1. 100% On-Device Processing (No Voice or Breath Recording)

BreathAR features interactive games controlled by your breathing. To accomplish this, the app uses your device's microphone to analyze ambient volume and amplitude changes in real time.

• No Recording: We do not record, store, or transmit any audio data. The analysis happens entirely locally on your device in temporary memory.
• No Remote Access: None of your breath patterns or voice inputs are ever uploaded to a server.

2. Information Collection and Use

We believe in data minimization. Below is a breakdown of what data is collected and how it is used:

• Game Progress & Streaks: Your game scores, points (XP), unlocked games, and daily calendar streaks are saved locally on your iOS device via Keychain and SwiftData/UserDefaults. If enabled, these are synced across your personal devices via Apple iCloud. We do not have access to this data.
• Subscriptions & Purchases: We use RevenueCat to process and manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous identifier to track transaction state (e.g. active subscription, purchase history) to verify access. No personal identity is linked.
• Crash Logs & Diagnostics: We may collect anonymous crash logs to improve app stability. These logs do not contain any personal identifier or voice data.

3. Third-Party Integrations

We work with trusted third-party providers to power premium services and sustain our free model:

• RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app purchases and subscription status. Please refer to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob: Standard rewarded video ads are used to allow free users to unlock premium games. AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers for frequency capping and attribution. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Apple HealthKit Integration (Optional)

If you grant permission, BreathAR can sync your mindful breathing duration as "Mindful Minutes" to the Apple Health app. BreathAR only writes data to the Health app and does not read or share any Health app data with third parties.

5. Children's Privacy

Our application is designed for general audiences. Since we do not collect any personal data, voice data, or physical trackers, our application is safe and fully compliant with COPPA and GDPR children's guidelines.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
